Description
This position supports the installation and on-going maintenance of Group Insurance clients who select our Recordkeeping Services.  The Analyst works closely with our clients, our Operational business partners and our development team to define and implement effective solutions to support the administration needs of our clients.  Specific duties include drafting business requirements for several file exchanges that are tailored for each client, which may include eligibility data, payroll deduction files for Optional coverages, remittance files and payment reconciliation, and data feeds for downstream interfaces.  The analyst is also responsible for creating and executing detailed and thorough testing plans, ensuring both our custom programs and the internal set-up within our administration system produce accurate results. In addition, the Analyst provides on-going production support for existing clients, resolving file feed problems as well as updating existing processes for changes in plan design or the addition of new covered groups of employees.

The qualified candidate will have the following skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills,   
  • Prior experience in the development and design of complex business requirements, as well as the creation and execution of testing plans
  • Proficiency in the use of PC based desktop applications (Excel, etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and cultivate strong partnerships with clients, external vendors and internal business partners
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and implement complete project life cycle methodology
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability in effectively driving results in an environment of changing priorities
  • Strong work management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently on multiple tasks with commitment and willingness to see issues through to resolution
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
  • Project Management certification a plus
  • Prior experience with administration of group insurance benefits or eligibility processing is preferred
