Client Data Lead/Director Job Listing at Prudential in Hartford, CT

Responsible for overall direction of defined benefit/contribution plan transaction-processing activities and client strategies (e.g., contributions, loans/withdrawals, participant changes, and other adjustments). The position may also manage account, auditing activities. Develops budgets and plans for department. In conjunction with management, establishes operating procedures and guidelines.

Will manage two or more managers working to create an end-to-end approach to client data through the on-boarding or enhancement of plans.  Primary focus is on setting the group's direction; day-to-day management is conducted through managers. Works closely with peers who oversee client interaction strategies and business process improvement/initiative strategies to create organizational direction.

• Preference given to individuals with prior Defined Contribution/Defined Benefit management experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing or supervising employees
• 4 year degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to translate organizational strategy into opportunities
• Minimum of 5 years experience translating complex data strategies into common vernacular to be understood by customers/clients
• Skilled negotiator with an ability to share experience/knowledge with direct reports on how to become better negotiators
• Strong client interaction skills
• Ability to work closely with peers and supervisor to move organization forward and adapt to changing work environment
• Able to communicate effectively with both internal partners as well as clients
• Demonstrated strong mentorship abilities
