The FHA division of PMCC, Prudential Huntoon Paige is seeking a Closer with experience in new construction.  This position has the flexibility of being based at any of the PMCC offices located throughout the country, but ideally would be located in Denver, Chicago, or the D.C. Metro area.  
The position will coordinate the timely and accurate handling of FHA loan closings in accordance with established department and government policies and regulations. Job duties will include but may not be limited to:
  • Drives the closing process, including interface with internal and external parties (including loan originator, underwriter, mortgage broker, borrower, attorney, title company, security broker dealer, government employees, servicing and asset management personnel).

  • Responsible for preparing loan closing packages for securitization and delivery to investors.

  • Transmits loan and pool information to servicing, asset management, accounting, and investor reporting departments.

  • Trains junior and support staff in the department, as requested by the Closing Manager.

  • Prepares loan settlement statements and initial draws.

  • Ability to travel to closings, as necessary, and acts as company representative in the execution of loan documentation

  • Keeps the Closing Manger and other parties informed of potential problems or delays and makes recommendations and presents solutions to management.


  • A minimum of 3-5 years closing experience, specifically with experience closing new construction and substantial rehabilitation loans (ideally HUD multifamily and LEAN transactions)
  • Working knowledge of FHA Loan Programs, Closing Requirements, and applicable Servicing Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills required with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a time sensitive environment where meeting established deadlines are critical
  • Ability to understand and interpret legal contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills essential with the ability to create/build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Personal Computer Skills (Advanced Excel, Access, Word, Microsoft Packages).
  • Self motivated and Detail Oriented essential
  • Ability to travel as required
