DescriptionThis position is within Prudential's Group Insurance Division. Selected candidates will be responsible for handling inbound calls surrounding questions about an individual's Long Term Care, Short Term Care, or FMLA benefits. This is an exciting, fast paced position. Through our formal training program, you will gain the critical technical, industry specific, and customer service skills to perform well in the role. Under limited supervision and within established guidelines, provides information to claimants, employers, and home office staff. Receives, evaluates and answers customer inquiries which are predominately routine but may require deviation from standard screens and procedures computerized system for tracking, information gathering, providing information, referrals, routine transactions and/or troubleshooting. May answer product, account, policy and service inquiries, resolve problems, and promote products and services by responding orally and/or in writing. May assess needs and suggest/promote alternative products or services. This position is accountable for explaining benefit coverage, creating disability claims, providing claim status, documenting, and investigating complaints.
Applicants must be able to work the following shifts: Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, 10am-6pm, or 12pm-8pm (10% shift differential for 12-8)
