The Prudential
Investment Management (PIM) Database Administration Team provides
24/7database administration for investment business applications
across PIM and Prudential Investments (PI).  The team has
expertise in multiple DBMS's (DB2/UDB, MS SQL Server, Sybase,
Oracle) and supports all environments (Production, Test,
Development). 

The successfulcandidate must have strong verbal and written communication skillsand strong problem detection, resolution, and technicaldocumentation skills.

The followingtechnical skills are mandatory...

DB2 for z/OS database administration skillsincluding...

• Knowledge of and experience with FULL and INCREMENTAL imagecopy and restoration; and a thorough knowledge of DSN1COPY.
  
• Experience with : JCL, VSAM, TSO, Jobtrac, ChangeMan,RACF (understanding the relationship between DB2 security andRACF) .
  

DB2 LUW database administration skills (UNIXimplementation) including...

• High Availability solutions: HADR
  
• K-shell scripting experience in a UNIX environment.

Experiencein MS SQL Server 2008 database administration is a plus but notrequired.
