Description

This position is responsible for leading a group of associates through 3-5 direct manager reports who are responsible for the ongoing servicing of our clients' retirement plans. Responsibilities are for overall day to day service operations of 3-5 service teams in Prudential's Relationship Management Organization. This person is accountable for deliverables as it relates to maintaining service measures, financial budget numbers, client and advisor satisfaction and employee satisfaction and development goals.


A qualified candidate will have strong, proven leadership skills with a solid defined contribution plan and financial services background. The incumbent will autonomously translate broad strategies into clear projects and initiatives within the organization. This individual will provide direct leadership, management and development oversight to a team of Relationship Managers managing average plan assets above $35M.


 


Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.


 


This position is based in Scranton, PA



  • Minimum of five to seven years of experience with defined contribution plan administration and financial services is required.
  • Minimum of five years of management experience is required. Experience managing other managers is preferred.
  • Proven leader with demonstrated skills in the development of associates and managers, and the ability to establish clear direction and objectives for a team are important.
  • Executive presence and exceptional client presentation, analytical, project management and communication skills.
  • Proven sales final and client meeting experience with the ability to engage and facilitate pricing, investment and product offering discussion with decision makers.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 & 26 required or must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30%.
