DescriptionThe Dental Business Development Director will be an integral member of the Dental Product Management team and work in close partnership with the Service Delivery Organization, the Small Business sales organization, Contracts, and Marketing.
The Dental Business Development Director will: Deliver presentations to existing clients, prospects and producers regarding Dental products/services/claim processes/networks; this includes field meetings, finalist meetings, site visits, webinars, conference calls and other "on demand" presentations. Coordinate efforts to ensure maximum value of Prudential corporate memberships in industry organizations, and facilitate company responses to survey responses and data requests. Serve as Dental Product content monitor and subject matter expert to the Proposal Response unit, to include operations conducted by our business partner, Group Dental Service. Analyze sales win/loss data and make recommendations based upon observations and communications with the sales organization. Ensure appropriate and timely Product Management responses to state-level requests for information and regulatory compliance. Under the direction of the Dental Product Vice President, create and maintain additional materials to support the sales and account management processes. Support open enrollment activities for voluntary groups, to include development and oversight of strategy and materials to maximize membership levels. Work closely with the Dental Product Vice President to ensure that client and producer feedback, marketplace trends, emerging issues are appropriately reflected in new product development and operational processes. Through feedback received from sales organizations, provide product positioning research and positioning recommendations.
