The incumbent will work closely with the Co-Chief Risk and Investment Officers (CRIOs), the Chief Business Risk Officer and the Regional Chief Underwriters in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the United States. Primary responsibilities will include:
 
Monitoring and assessing PREI's exposure to geographic regions, asset sectors, investment strategies, industries, and currencies. Assisting in developing and maintaining PREI's watch case process.
Supporting investment underwriting through trend analysis of business case assumptions.
Collaborating with portfolio management teams to conduct portfolio stress testing during annual Investment Committee portfolio reviews.
Supporting the CRIOs in development of the portfolio management strategy for strategic capital investments and product approvals with associated quarterly reviews and reporting of investment performance. 
Participating in post authorization reviews of new products and investments.
Collaborating with Investment Research in the development and review of new investment strategies and products.
 
General functions supporting the responsibilities above may include:
Preparing analysis across property types and portfolios
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and maintaining databases
Coordinating and managing extensive amounts of data, manipulating databases
Preparing presentations and undertaking special projects for senior management
Fulfilling requests from internal and external clients
Tracking information sources from Wall Street firms and other organizations
Occasional travel is required.

Strong interest in commercial real estate investment
Minimum of 3 years related commercial real estate experience
A solid background in economics, finance, real estate, or business
Proven ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
A team player with good work ethics and a service orientation
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues around the world; previous international work experience a plus
Excellent analytical, quantitative and spreadsheet skills
Strong oral and written communication skills (multilingual capabilities a plus)
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
