Description

Provides executive protection duties and transportation responsibilities in support of the overall security program for Grades 5 and above as necessary. Position also serves as a back up to the Senior Executive Protection Transportation Associate. The Executive Protection Transportation Associate will be responsible to protect and transport the executive as required by the Company utilizing vehicles supplied by Prudential.


 


There are two positions available. One is responsible for providing executive protection and transportation security for the Chief Financial Officer and the second provides executive protection and transportation security for the Chief Operating Officer, International Businesses .


 


Responsibilities:


 


  • Conducts body cover and security protection, event security as well as transportation advance work, (route and event planning), information and intelligence analysis, to provide a safe and secure environment
  • When attending major public/social events, cordinate and address potential security concerns with the event management team, the event venue security team, and local law enforcement.
  • Performs administrative duties, such as strict record-keeping of vehicle use so timely and accurate information can be provided for quarterly and annual regulatory reports, e.g., IRS rules on executive compensation.  May also perform other general security activities in support of Global Security.


  • Prior career in law enforcement, with a minimum of 10 years experience and with a specialization in Executive Protection Services.
  • Licensed to carry firearms in New Jersey, as well as in their respective states, maintaining the required training and qualifications to maintain those statuses.
  • Specialized driver training in both evasive techniques and high speed disciplines designed to escape potential hazards
  • Domestic and international overnight travel may be required
  • Must possess a valid US passport
  • Ability to present oneself professionally at all times among varied groups of the social strata
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential information
  • Possession of an ASO is a plus
  • Recent experience driving Prudential executives, preferred
