Description
This position is in the Sales Data and Compensation (SD&C) group within Prudential Group Insurance and provides an excellent opportunity for motivated associates to learn many facets of the GI business as well as exposure to many levels of leadership and the business units that comprise Group Insurance. The position is financial in nature. This position will report to the Manager of Sales Data & Compensation.
- Responsible for monthly Group Rep Bonus (GRB) calculations for GI’s Sales and Account Management Organization.
- Research and respond to inquiries from field on GRB related issues. This will include working with other areas of GI, such as, Underwriting and Billing.
- Collaborate with SD&C team to enhance reporting capabilities and to develop consultative reports.
- Assists the Manager of Sales Data & Compensation with ad hoc projects as assigned
Previous Group Insurance experience is highly desired but not a requirement.
- A financial background, either through an Accounting/Finance education and/or through meaningful work experience (3+ years) in a financial field (e.g., Finance, Accounting/Controllers, Underwriting, etc.) is desirable, however, this criteria can be waived for candidates who show through prior experience or appraisals the ability to develop and apply new skills quickly.
- Project Management experiences a plus but not required.
- Deadline driven (including the willingness to work overtime on an as-needed basis).
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Macros experience a plus.Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Excel and will be required to take an Excel test as part of the interview process.
