Prudential Mortgage Capital Company is one of the nation's largest full-service commercial real estate lenders.  Prudential Mortgage Capital originates a wide variety of commercial mortgage investments for Prudential's General Account, investment management clients, CMBS Program and third party capital sources (such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, or other institutional investors).
 
Prudential Mortgage Capital's Chicago Team is seeking a bright and highly motivated individual to join the team as a Financial Reporting Analyst.  This individual would be working directly with the Director and Senior Managing Director, who are responsible for managing the loan origination staff and all encompassing business reporting and company initiatives.  The successful candidate would play an important and integral role on the team analyzing team performance, developing key management reports, and taking part in key organizational changes.   The position offers an outstanding opportunity to learn and develop a broad range of financial, analytical, marketing, and presentation skills as well as learn about the organization at a very high but in-depth level.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Partner on a wide variety of assignments, including production reporting, client tracking, market penetration, and business driver tracking

  • Manage and analyze reports in proprietary loan tracking system

  • Assist with all aspects of special initiatives including preparing project plans, implementing changes in the organization and presenting to senior management   

  • Interact professionally with internal loan origination personnel and other associates across many business groups

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Concentration/major in finance and/or real estate strongly preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability required.
  • Outstanding communication, team work, and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Computer proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously needed.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills a must.
  • Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of a deal team necessary.
