Description
Prudential Retirement is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and hard-working Designer who is capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced in-house design environment. The designer will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for both Business to Client and Business to Business markets.

This candidate must possess a sophisticated aesthetic sense that works across multiple digital and print media, a dedication to innovation and a love for the convergence of design and technology. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of execution and delivery of solutions that combine strong concepts and usability with an engaging storytelling experience. Reporting to the Design Manager, this candidate will design a wide variety of challenging projects (Print Campaigns, Microsites, Widgets, HTML Emails, DVD's, PowerPoint, Animations, Package Design, Conference Materials) that focus on bringing our internal clients' sales and marketing goals to life in the most engaging ways possible.

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia or related discipline from an accredited college or university required.
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of digital and print design experience.
  • Software expertise including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and After Effects.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual visual ideas and execute against them to create innovative digital solutions in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in print, web design and user interface/information architecture conventions.
  • Thorough knowledge of user experience deliverables such as site maps, storyboards, wireframes, functional specifications and style guides.
  • Working knowledge of Action Scripting; as well as presentation-layer technologies, including HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS helpful.
  • A background in brand identity and print/advertising design is a plus.
