Prudential Real Estate Investors seeks a Portfolio (Investment) Analyst to be a part of the Global Real Estate Securities Group, which maintains a focus on multiple public equity investment strategies, with current assets under management of over $1.6B. The Equity Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the management of our global platforms for the REIT equities portfolios. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, analytical abilities along with a background in equity securities or portfolio management. High degree of proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint is essential; knowledge of FactSet, SNL and Bloomberg is recommended but not required. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to perform well both within a team environment and independently. The Analyst will be responsible for: - Writing and assisting with RFP's - Working on client requests which may include writing outlooks, performance summaries and other reports - Maintaining and monitoring various portfolio models - Portfolio optimization - Attending industry conferences - Preparing and generating ideas for pitch books - Client reporting and portfolio analysis, including attribution analysis - Board presentation materials - Internal (and external) marketing presentations - Client service - Participation in and preparation for marketing and due diligence meetings - Eventually assist with equity research and analysis Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or degree/experience in financial writing - Solid understanding of financial/statistical analysis - Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills - High degree of proficiency in Windows, Excel, Bloomberg, Word and PowerPoint is essential - MBA or CFA participation a plus Apply on Company Website |
