Prudential Mortgage Capital Company ("PMCC") is one of the nation's largest full-service commercial, multi-family and agricultural real estate lenders. Prudential Mortgage Capital Company originates a wide variety of mortgage investments across its platform for Prudential's General Account, investment management clients, and other third party capital sources (such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, or other institutional investors). Description: Prudential Mortgage Capital Company's FHA Division is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst, a three year assignment in the Prudential Investment Management Analyst Program. The position will be located in Chicago. Responsibilities: Offer technical support to the management team on a variety of quantitative assignments, including compiling databases of client contacts and commercial properties, sorting data lists, and performing internet and market research. Work directly with senior management to develop, track and analyze performance metrics to be utilized across the lending platform. Collect, sort, and analyze real estate data and assist senior members of the team in using proprietary data to develop strategic marketing and process initiatives. Successful candidate will manage and oversee initiatives. The Chicago office is staffed with loan officers, underwriters and closers. The successful candidate will also gain exposure to all of the different disciplines involved in sourcing, underwriting and closing commercial real estate transactions. The position will be located in Chicago, however the individual will routinely work with and report to individuals located in other PMCC offices on a project basis. Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability with a strong attention to detail. Computer proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word. Ability to clearly and concisely present quantitative findings to senior management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to accurately manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
