PruBenefit Funding, a business of Prudential's Group Insurance department, located in Roseland, NJ, offers insurance products designed to assist corporations or their trusts to fund non-qualified employee benefit plans.  PruBenefit Funding is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist senior staff with overall investment analysis, monitoring, reporting and risk management.  Responsibilities may include:
 
  • Obtaining monthly due diligence from external and Prudential-affiliated investment managers, analyzing information, identifying any issues with respect to compliance with investment guidelines and timely reporting of such findings to management;

  • Preparing reports for separate account oversight committees or insurance company Board of Directors;

  • Preparing any customized client reporting;

  • Supporting registered investment options by monitoring participation agreements and acquiring filed disclosure documents;

  • Reviewing quarterly performance analyses provided by PruBenefit Funding's investment consultant; and

  • Backing-up other team members. 

 
The successful candidate must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners.

  • Highly developed analytical and investigative skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree.
  • Math or Finance major considered a plus.
  • Self-starter, works independently.
  • Well-organized and able to manage an increasing volume of assignments.
  • Diligent follow-through.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently with executives and external business partners.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to work overtime as necessary. This is a non-Exempt position.
