Financial Operations, a division within Prudential Group Insurance, performs a variety of Premium, Commission, Suspense and Tax Reporting for all life and disability products.  An opportunity exists for a Manager over the Operations Teams that primarily provides tax reporting and control as well as daily lockbox and treasury activities.  The qualified candidate should possess excellent leadership skills as the job requires multiple tasks to be monitored and performed within demanding internal and external guidelines and deadlines. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 14 to 16 associates by providing performance feedback, coaching sessions and career building opportunities.


• Coordinate and monitor all daily lockbox activities.


• Manage day to day financial activities associated with tax processing including tax errors, tax set-up, web services and referrals from contact center. 


• Identify trends, conduct business analysis and report results to senior leadership. 


• Perform process and control reviews on all functions within team. 


• Partner will internal business areas to improve service metrics and business relationships. 

• Strong talent management focus with 5 to 7 years of accounting management experience.
• General knowledge of Group Insurance products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of banking and treasury functions.
• Demonstrated initiative, motivation, flexibility and responsiveness to change.
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Access, Excel and Word
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
