Manager, Compliance Training

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a new professional development curriculum for Compliance professionals at Prudential and the associated courses and learning experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP, Compliance Training to identify training needs, research development options, design and develop training materials, communicate and promote the new curriculum and measure the effectiveness of the training provided.  They will also support the delivery of the Compliance development events, classes and seminars and assist the VP, Compliance Training with related projects.
 
This position reports to the Vice President, Enterprise Compliance Training, in the Compliance Department. 
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting training and developmental needs analyses and assessments

  • Reviewing assessment results, designing training content and establishing a strategy to effectively meet identified training needs.

  • Developing of training content, formulating and reviewing training outlines to determine appropriate instructional format;

  • Evaluating and recommending internal and vendor programs, as necessary, to meet training objectives.

  • Identifying alternative methods for developing Compliance skills and knowledge, beyond traditional classroom and on-line training.

  • Establishing mechanisms for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of training and development programs;

  • Regularly reviewing training program materials and utilizing evaluation feedback to revise content or methods, as necessary.


Experience and qualifications:
  • 3 plus years of strong relationship management, interpersonal and client relationship building skills
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage and balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse organizations while achieving milestones and project goals
  • Legal/Compliance experience strongly desired
  • 3-5 years of Compliance related training and development experience; or training / adult learning experience, preferably in a financial services environment
