- Provide support on a variety of Board and Governance Department projects and deliverables
- Query and analyze databases and publically available information to answer specific questions and to analyze issues/trends in governance and sustainability along with the related regulatory and business environment
- Work with the Corporate Governance Teams on:
o Intergroup and departmental communications and record keeping o Board portal o Maintenance and updates of the Governance inter and intranet sites o Facilitation of related other portal Communities o Other innovations e.g. sites, social networking etc
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in Corporate Governance/Corporate Secretary's Office, or Investor Relations at a Fortune 500 company
- Technology expert user with specific knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Excel or similar charts, graphs, etc) , Lotus Notes, Interwoven, portal tools
- Outstanding written and communications skills Ability to convey information completely, accurately, and succinctly through effective oral and written means.
- Experience in multimedia communications such as use of on-line, print, meeting materials, publications, social media, presentations, web sites, newsletters and use of video;
- Proven flawless execution over time of written and analytical tasks;
- Professional demeanor, ability to multi-task and work independently, including under tight time constraints;
- Ease in adapting to changing priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment;
- Ability to interact and communicate needed actions to members of senior management;
- An astute sense of diplomacy, tact, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information;
- Expert at working effectively with internal and external partners including vendors;
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
