The successful candidate will assume manager responsibilities for the planning and analysis for PREI.  This position will play an integral role in forecasting, communicating and driving financial performance for PREI as well as have the opportunity to interact with our global business partners.  The incumbent will report to the Director, Financial Analysis. 
 
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting of forecasted results in support of the PREI business

  • Drive improvement in forecasting process to create a more accurate, efficient process

  • Partner effectively with global partners in the PREI affiliates as well as key business contacts domestically

  • Lead consolidated reporting process of forecasted results for PREI.

  • Prepare forecast package with detailed analysis for presentation to Senior Management

  • Complete special projects and various ad-hoc requests

  • Develop and manage staff


  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred, but will consider candidates with proven experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong accounting, research and analytical skills
  • Public accounting firm experience/CPA/MBA a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to drive process improvement
  • Strong computer skills (a firm working knowledge of Excel; Access and Prudential financial systems applications a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
 Comments
  • Overtime will be required during peak periods
  • Position is based in NJ and will relocate from Parsippany to Madison in May 2012
