DescriptionThe Manager, Project Management position supports the management of cross-functional teams in the planning and implementation of multiple projects across the Individual Life's Actuarial Departments. The position requires the individual to lead project teams on any Actuarial project to achieve the desired results. This would include preparing and maintaining project documentation including scope statements, project schedules, issues lists, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, documentation of decisions, risk plans, after action reviews, best practices and the maintenance of these project documents on an internal database. The individual would be responsible for chairing the team meetings and communication of project status and escalating unresolved issues to management and key stakeholders. The individual would be responsible for working with all team members on project deliverables, issue resolution, negotiating project dates and on the status of work . Other responsibilities of the position can include supporting an Actuarial Gatekeeper process to manage the introduction of life actuarial project work, chairing prioritization meetings and documenting results, documenting procedures and work flows, and maintenance of the area's business continuation plans
