Description
Prudential is seeking a Political Action Committee (PAC) Manager responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Company's PACs.  The position requires a highly motivated, team orientated candidate with prior fundraising and PAC management experience, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  A strong compliance background and familiarity with federal pay-to-pay rules are a plus.
 
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing of all administrative functions for the PACs

  • Developing and implementing fundraising strategies

  • Managing PAC receipts and disbursements

  • Overseeing all record-keeping for PACs

  • Coordinating and distributing newsletter on a periodic basis

  • Filing PAC reports in conformance with federal and state campaign finance requirements

  • Preparing and maintaining state and federal PAC budgets

  • Updating Prudential PAC intranet site

  • Developing PAC reports for internal and external use

  • Interfacing with Law and Compliance departments on PAC regulatory related matters

  • Assisting in the preparation of federal lobbyist filings

  • Planning and execution of PAC Board meetings


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, advanced agree a plus
  • 3+ years work-related experience in PAC administration/management and fundraising
  • Must have prior fundraising/PAC experience
  • Strong familiarity with campaign finance, election laws, public official gift and entertainment rules and state and federal lobbying rules.
  • Knowledge of the political and legislative process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Prior experience with VOCUS PAC software or similar software a plus
  • Working knowledge of Lotus Notes a plus
  • Ability to regularly travel to Home Office in Newark, New Jersey
