This position will be part of Business Development Reporting & Administration within Client Relations & Business Development.  This role fulfills a critical function for our Sales's organization.  The candidate chosen for this role will define, develop and provide information and analysis to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal customers.  Individual will procure and compile data for insertion into reports and presentations.  Skills critical to this career path include project management, leadership and business expertise. 
 
Primary job responsibilities include:

• Produce bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for various audiences including CR&BD, Finance and Strategic Relationship Management
• Work with the internal customer to generate solutions for enhanced reporting, and then plan and implement those solutions
• Conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and develop formal recommendations for presentation to management

Job location:  Hartford, CT

• BS or BA in Business, Finance, or equivalent business experience required
• Applicable work experience in an analyst, reporting, technical, or similar function
• Experience with IBM SPSS and SalesForce is a strongly preferred
• 3+ years of benefit background for Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit & Non Qualified products is a strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to direct, moderate and negotiate multi-functional groups 
• Ability to deal with and resolve conflicting and competing demands 
• Proficient PC Skills - Excel/Powerpoint/Access/Internet Methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills are required
