DescriptionPrudential's eBusiness Development Group is looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing Research, to support the gathering of Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer insights based on in-house metrics and analytics, external research, pilot projects, and other sources. This person will support improving the overall customer experience and achieving specific business unit goals for various digital assets. In addition, the successful candidate will play a key role in the distribution of thought leadership within the enterprise covering the full range of digital marketing topics.
Responsibilities Lead the collection of best practices for digital marketing, social media, mobile, and website deployment Evaluate the latest research studies for applicable intelligence and insights Collect case histories and competitive information Respond to team and business-unit requests for relevant research to support projects Support pilot projects and primary research initiatives Work with Digital Analytics team to enhance metrics reporting with broader insights, industry benchmarks, best practices, case histories, competitors' activities, etc. Develop a series of thought leadership newsletters and reports covering digital strategy and insights Maintain a library of up-to-date intelligence for use in presentations and reports Act as a trusted advisor to business units to help them succeed in the digital space Requirements 5+ years of business experience in digital marketing research for a Fortune 500 company, a major digital agency, or a research firm 3+ years managing and coordinating multiple strategy projects across internal teams and client relationships Deep understanding of firms supplying syndicated research such as Forrester, Gartner, Cerulli, kasina, and others and their relative strengths Extensive experience educating internal teams and clients on best practices derived from various channels of research Highly articulate and persuasive verbally and in all written formats Facile in the social media universe and its distinct marketing opportunities Ability to remain productive under pressures that may come from deadlines, shifting priorities, emergency social media response duties, etc. Adept with working on simultaneous projects at different stages of development High energy and confidence to tackle complex problems Upholds high performance standards and an ability to deliver Exceptional attention to detail Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in teams Undergraduate degree in a communications or marketing field Advanced degree or related certificate is desirable Highly Preferred Experience working in financial services, especially in a large firm that provides both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer products and services Knowledge of compliance issues in financial services or a regulated industry Ability to display humor when under pressure Apply on Company Website |
