Recruiting Social Media Community Manager - Contractor
Location: Newark, NJ 
 
Prudential currently seeks a Recruiting Social Media Community Manager for a 4-6 month contract assignment within its Staffing organization.
The Recruiting Social Media Community Manager manages the established and emerging presence on the major social media networks, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube for the Staffing organization.  The Manager will also work closely with internal partners who manage Staffing's search engine optimization & search engine marketing campaigns. The Community Manager partners with Recruiting Relationship Managers and Recruiters to best utilize these mediums to attract, engage, and ultimately hire top talent in the industry.
 
Responsibilities
         Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the refinement of the overall social media strategy for the department
         Maintain and execute against a clear set of objectives for each major social destination and track and measure return on investment
         Manage our existing recruiting presence on Facebook and LinkedIn, overseeing the monitoring, creation of relevant content, campaigns and contests, and dialogue as appropriate in support of site strategies
         Assist with managing content strategy for careers mobile and desktop sites
         Play an active role in launching, maintaining and monitoring branded YouTube channel including video production
         Lead and partner with Recruiting Managers and Recruiters through planning sessions on SEM campaigns on various sites including Google and Facebook
         Provide insight into how new technologies and social media can support the long-term strategy of the department.
         Maintain productive relationships with internal partners and external vendors.
         Address concerns that arise within the legal, risk, and compliance groups.
 

         5+ years experience managing digital strategy and projects and collaborating with cross functional teams
         Hands-on experience managing the social media presence and/or major initiatives for a large firm. Active participation in social media networks, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube as well as expertise/understanding of SEM/SEO campaigns
         Experience writing creative content for web/social media projects
         Experience creating, executing and measuring success of campaigns and contests on various social media networks
         Highly articulate and persuasive verbally when presenting to groups
         Strong project management skills and adept with working on simultaneous projects at different stages of development
         High energy and confidence to tackle problems
         Upholds high performance standards and an ability to deliver
         Exceptional attention to detail
         Prior experience in financial services, other regulated industry and/or Recruiting/HR strongly preferred
