Description
This is a Relationship Management (RM) position within Client Services. The RM will be responsible for handling the daily administration and inquiries for our Tax Exempt and/or Corporate defined contribution clients in Retirement Services.  The RM will serve as an intermediary between the client and the various functional areas of Retirement Services to ensure the client's needs are met in a manner consistent with our objectives, administrative documents and applicable laws. 
 
Depending on the client's service model, the RM may be responsible for developing and administering the client's overall strategy by introducing new products and services along with managing the plans' financials or the RM may be responsible to work closely with Key Account Management to ensure the administration of the overall strategy is implemented.  Under both service models, the RM may be expected to manage Financial Advisor/Agent relationships while coordinating client specific projects.
 
The RM will be expected to meet with clients and develop an expertise on the plan documents and various administrative requirements that define the client relationship.  The RM will also be required to serve as a Reserve Agent and respond to calls from the plans' participants in support of the Participant Service Center during peak call times.

College Degree in Business or Communications or equivalent work experience required.
 
Work experience in an environment of high level of client facing/ customer service work (preferably within the financial services, banking, and/or insurance industries) is required. Other industry experience also considered.
 
FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations must be obtained within 120 days of employment in this position. State Insurance license(s) are also required.
 
Strong customer service skills are essential.
 
Experience in the defined contribution business and a working knowledge of the defined benefit segment are preferred.
 
Strong written and verbal skills are essential.
 
Presentation skills are required.
 
Proficiency as a user of integrated computer systems is required; experience with account processing, such as those for financial institutions, retirement plans, or insurance companies is preferred.
 
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software are required.
 
Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong project management skills.
