Incumbent directly supervises a staff of Internal Sales professionals who support External Wholesalers by focusing their efforts on territory management, outbound telephone selling, and providing best in class service to Financial Advisors. 
 
The Manager will be responsible for the overall strategy and business plan execution of their team and their respective Channel. This includes oversight of call monitoring and coaching, thus enhancing the quality and effectiveness of sales support; preparing sales reports for management; in conjunction with the training department, developing and delivering sales and product training programs; develop and maintain organizational partnerships with other sales leaders and internal customers.

The Manager will also serve as the Registered Principal, and in accordance with industry and corporate compliance standards will perform all duties expected of a Registered Principal. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: illustration, email, mail, and phone monitoring and review, as well as any signoff necessary to satisfy regulatory requirements. Incumbents typically have over seven years of sales experience and will possess FINRA Series 6, 63, 26, and state Life and Health licenses.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Masters degree or other designations a plus
  • Seven plus years of sales experience
  • Hold FINRA Series 6, 63, 26, and state Life and Health licenses
  • Series 7 a plus
Must have excellent computer skills and be highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
