  The Sr. Accounting Associate is part of Woodbridge
Operations located in Iselin, NJ.  The staff member is
responsible for the reconciliation of cash, check disbursement and
suspense accounts, to ensure the accuracy of financial
reporting. 
 
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

• Reconciliation of domestic/foreign bank accounts and ledger by
  researching and resolving reconciliation differences.


• Interface with business areas and banks to obtain information
  in the research and resolution of reconciliation differences, and
  performs analytical work to assist with unit
  projects.   


• Utilization of Frontier system to research and analyze
  reconciliations affecting month end close processes.


• Analyzing trends to develop appropriate matching rules/criteria
  for the identification of offsetting entries for bank and ledger
  data.


• Completion of monthly/annual bank account Final
  Reconciliations.

 
Throughout the year, staff members also have the opportunity to
gain exposure by working on enterprise initiatives and divisional
projects.

• Four-year degree required, Major in finance/accountingpreferred
• Understanding of General Ledger and basic accountingprinciples
• Strong written, oral and analytical skills
• Results oriented with effective time management andorganizational skills, with ability to prioritize work based onbusiness needs
• Demonstrates initiative/motivation and strong interpersonalskills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a teamenvironment

 
 
Comments:
               Overtime and weekends required during peak periods, such as monthand year-end.
