Data Operations Role
 
Under limited supervision maintain assigned daily
deliverables, support data operations, internal client reporting
processes, and system initialization / checkout for Prudential
Retirement's business.
 
This position requires a strong partnership with
fellow team members and peers in other departments in supporting
client reporting and operational activities.
 
The specific core competencies in the following
areas are required:
  • High quality of work standards including a strong attention to
    detail  Very strong time management skills, ability to work
    well under deadlines, ability to work in multi-tasking production
    environment, and make good judgments about competing
    priorities

  • Effective partnership and strong communication skills

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and performance
    reporting concepts

  • Ability to read, understand and reconcile financial
    statements

  • Ability to understand multiple processes and the impacts of the
    processes on client reporting
 
Job Requirements:
  • Complete monthly and quarterly deliverables aggregating data
    from multiple sources, initiate reporting platforms and validate
    systems and reports

  • Gather data and metrics from multiple internal business
    partners and service providers to create consolidated metrics
    reporting in support of the oversight of key relationships that
    support Prudential Retirement's Defined Benefit business

  • Identify process breakdowns, propose solutions to remedy and
    work with business partners to implement solutions

  • Organize and prepare materials for quarterly meetings with
    senior management, internal business partners and service
    providers

  • Partner to create open and ongoing communication to keep
    workflow running smoothly between internal business partners and
    service providers

  • Play a key role in the on-going development and service model
    improvement initiatives with service providers and internal
    partners

  • Achieve excellence in daily work and inspire others by
    example

  • Encourage accountability and strive for innovation in thinking
    and in actions


•     Four-year degree, orequivalent work experience.
•     3-4 years work experiencein financial reporting or investments.
•     Strong project managementskills, the ability to balance team orientation with ability towork independently
•     Demonstrated ability tofocus on and take ownership for results (i.e.: quality, deadlines,goal-setting, and process improvement)
•     Ability to work wellunder pressure and to easily adapt to changes in priorities to meetmarketplace and business needs.
•     Understanding ofinvestment concepts and/or products within retirementmarket.
•     Well developed oral andwritten communication skills, ability to translate complex ideasinto clear and simple format
•     Ability to demonstrate apattern of results in achieving desired behavioraloutcomes.
