Description
This position is part of the ESFS - Corporate Reporting Unit in the CFO organization, which provides financial and technical support to the overall Financial Management organization. This team works closely with senior management across FM to provide reporting, financial analysis, forecasts and annual budgets, including the associated Corporate Center chargebacks. This position will provide the candidate exposure to the overall processes needed for expense reporting, forecasting and planning for the Corporate Centers.
      
  • Finance liaison to U.S. Businesses Finance and Enterprise Services & Financial Systems (ESFS) organizations, which includes preparation of annual expense budgets, reporting of actual vs. budget results, preparation of value added financial data, development of quarterly expense and headcount forecasts, and various ad hoc responsibilities

  • Heavy involvement in annual Finance Plan process, including provision of plan guidance to clients and modeling scenarios for future years

  • Ownership of monthly accrual process, including review of all supporting documentation from clients and recording of entries in the Oracle General Ledger

  • Quarterly sign-off and ownership of PASS accounts

  • Involvement in expense management activities across Finance areas

  • Calculation of annual chargebacks during planning process, as well as monthly processing of chargebacks in the CHARMS Collection System

  • Additional ad hoc requests or project work as required

 

  • College degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Strong PC skills (particularly Excel)
  • Familiar with Oracle General Ledger, Essbase, Clarity, OBI
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Ability to partner with various levels of Management
  • Proven ability to work within tight time constraints Ability to multi-task
  • Overtime is required during peak periods
