We are looking for a senior financial writer with extensive experience in asset management and product marketing.  Strong knowledge of fixed income and strong writing and editing ability required.  This position reports to the head of institutional marketing.  Responsibilities include the development of clear, concise content and communication in support of all sales, client service and investment efforts.  Individual must be able to understand technical concepts from investment management and develop them in the delivery of white papers for a broad audience.  Deliveries include the writing and editing of all investment related reports, thought leadership materials, topical white papers, quarterly outlooks and customized RFP responses and marketing materials.  The person in this role will act as a back up and lead the RFP team in the RFP Managers absence.  Ability to develop commentary for use in fact sheets, and monthly and quarterly updates across multiple distribution channels.  This position interacts directly with investment management, sales and distribution professionals, and client service professionals across the business. 

• We are looking for a candidate with in depth knowledge of fixed income markets, product marketing, investment strategies, and economics with 7-10 years of direct experience in an asset management organization in the role of financial writer.
• Demonstrated expertise in working in a content development role with investment managers and sales professionals in an asset management organization.
• Ability to take technical opinions and concepts and develop clear, concise communication to a broad constituency.  
• Strong market knowledge, extensive practical and industry knowledge, and the ability to integrate critical information from diverse areas. 
• The capacity to fully comprehend the investment organization's products, processes, and service needs and to respond to them. 
• Strong critical thinking and a solid understanding of asset management.
• Previous RFP experience required.
• Strong work ethic, ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Highly responsive, a senior team player with a collaborative style.
• Writing samples and an in house writing test will be required as part of the interview process.
• B.A or B.S. degree, MBA desired.
