Description
Corporate Investigations is seeking a well rounded individual with fraud insurance investigative and financial services industry experience to conduct confidential investigations on behalf of Prudential.  The successful candidate will  investigate allegations involving fraud, conflict of interest, privacy and other matters related to improper conduct involving Prudential employees, third party affiliates, vendors, or external actors.  This individual may also be responsible for conducting sales practice related investigations involving agents and/or brokers appointed to sell Prudential's financial services products. 
 
The position requires the ability to work independently, collect and analyze pertinent information and documents, conduct interviews and prepare accurate and concise written reports of the investigative results for senior management in a timely manner and with minor editing.  This individual must demonstrate self-initiative and be able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.  The candidate should be cognizant of emerging technologies and the role they play in fraud investigations.  The candidate must have the ability to effectively apply technology to assist with information gathering and analysis and to assist with risk identification and assessments.  The candidate will partner with local, state and/or federal law enforcement agencies to file cases and pursue fraud perpetrators on behalf of Prudential.    He/she should have a working knowledge of financial products and the financial services industry and the ability to both conduct and assist with the management of many product related investigations.   
 

  • A minimum of 5 years of investigative experience in law enforcement, corporate fraud department or a regulatory compliance role.
  • Strong investigative, analytic, and technical skills.
  • Strong initiative and drive for results.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise investigative reports with minimal editing is required.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services and general knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Serve as a department representative on cross functional projects/initiatives and as a fraud subject matter expert.
  • Able to operate standard MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Some travel is required.
