The individual will be an integral part of the Individual Annuity
Valuation team in the Actuarial unit of Prudential Annuities, which
is responsible for reporting and analyzing the risks of the
Annuities business. The individual's primary role will function on
performing system implementations on Statutory/tax, and GAAP
quarterly financials.
 
Additional roles will include:
  • Implement existing Triton/AnnuityMaster system for new products
    and requirements.

  • Perform monthly valuation on VLI product.

  • Validate monthly VIA data used by modeling team.

  • Identify and resolve Se2 data issues.

  • Perform monthly gross profit manual process on DAC reporting
    and reconciliation. 

  • Support requests from Internal/External Auditors and coordinate
    with other teams.


  • Specific Job Requirements are:
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experienced user of MS Excel and MS Access/Word. 
  • Experience with VBA/SQL is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal and strong written and verbal communicationskills.  
  • Experience in GAAP reporting or Statutory valuation is aplus.
  • Prior annuity experience is a plus.
  • Actuarial credentials - few exams to ASA desired.
