The Office of Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (OSGLI) administers the Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance program (SGLI). SGLI offers life insurance products to active duty service members, veterans, and their families. Prudential has been servicing our Servicemembers since 1965.
OSGLI currently has a position available in Business Service Delivery for a Systems Analyst Specialist. This position supports the business units within OSGLI and partners with Information Technology to bring forward software upgrades and projects.

 
The Systems Analyst Specialist will be accountable for:

• Business Requirement Development


• Test plan development and completion


• Software release management, including communication with Business Partners


• Coordination of resources with Group Insurance IT


• Creation and monitoring of OSGLI System Budget


• Partner with the Project Manager and Business Owners to develop project plans


• Management of SuperUser requests


• Provide guidance and supervision to Business Analysts and QA/UA testers

Qualifications required:

• Minimum of 5 years software development experience
• Strong understanding of the system development lifecycle
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously  
• Strong customer service focus required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide effective feedback to business partners and team members
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to meet and exceed job performance standards and team goals
