Job Description:
The successful candidate will work with a high performance and diverse team that supports the PREI Real Estate financial and property management, asset management, portfolio management and investor relations applications (MRI, Resolve, Investran) for the worldwide business as well as performing other business technical support as determined by management. The position requires that the candidate work with the real estate systems team, regional business units, and individual software vendors in various countries in order to implement global management information systems for the PREI global enterprise.  The candidate will manage technology-related projects to develop project plans, clearly define business requirements, set priorities and perform and/or coordinate business testing of new systems or modifications of existing systems for business needs.    Projects may involve working directly with property managers, and PREI accountant, analysts, and portfolio managers to assist them in routine daily application support issues, developing, improving, and maintaining business processes, user training, and documentation.  The qualified candidate should possess strong real estate knowledge and systems background along with experience with multi-national technology projects.  They should also possess good, business, presentation, and process skills and be able to work with various multi-cultural teams.  An understanding of relational databases and basic system design concepts is desirable. 
 
 
Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing multi-national/regional technology projects in a lead role and serving as liaison between business stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are met.

  • Working with technical and business personnel to write detailed specifications for reporting, systems requirements, use cases, and design documents.

  • Analyzing current business processes, and defining work flow and completing gap analysis in respective business areas requirements and able to develop recommendations to solve for local or regional requirements.   

  • Developing communication and implementing strategies around process changes.

  • Preparing and revising project plans and schedules and providing ongoing status reports to management.

  • Production end-user support, change management, real estate system testing, troubleshooting, research and analysis, and project management.

  • Developing and delivering training to the business users for our financial and business applications (MRI, Resolve Investran).

  • Communicating updates to our applications and maintaining up-to-date training documentation.

  • Participating in real estate system user group forums, operations and system committees and auditing related topics.

  • International and domestic travel is required (10-20%).

 
 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an end user or consultant with real estate systems including property, asset, debt, and/or portfolio reporting (in any or all of these systems: MRI, Resolve, Argus, Investran).
  • Minimum 3 years technology project management experience. 
  • Possesses intermediate technical skills in Excel and at least basic skills in SQL Query and has an understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Candidates should have good written and oral communication skills, be self-starters, and excel when working in a team environment. 
  • Needs to have good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Prudential Real Estate Investor business experience is preferable.
  • Experience with audits, business continuation planning, Lotus Notes database development, business unit budgeting and contract negotiation is preferable.
  • Additional language skills preferred (Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese, or Japanese)
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task and set priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and be productive (meets deadlines / flexible / responsive to change).
