Prudential Huntoon Paige (PHP) is PMCC's FHA lending division. PHP is a leading provider of FHA-insured commercial mortgages on multi-family and health care properties. Prudential Huntoon Paige specializes in working with the U.S. Department of Housing and Development (HUD) on providing a wide variety of financing options for multifamily and elderly care facilities throughout the United States. Financing includes but is not limited to new construction, refinances, and acquisitions of properties which may include market rate rental properties or affordable properties with a mix of subsidies (Section 8, Tax Credits, Bonds, Grants). We are seeking a highly motivated individual for placement as an Underwriting Analyst on small fully integrated teams. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable working in teams both co-located in the same office as the candidate as well as co-workers located elsewhere throughout the U.S. This position will be located in PHP's Chicago Office and will report to the Underwriting Team Lead. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: · Primary point of contact for borrowers and responsible for maintaining high customer service satisfaction for due diligence collection · Interact with originators and underwriters · Coordinate delivery of due diligence materials to third party report providers · Coordinate delivery of due diligence materials from borrower to underwriting team, including working with a processor to coordinate the collection of property and borrower information · Review and complete Quality Control checklist on reports when received (including appraisals, market studies, environmental reports, and property conditions assessments · Research local real estate markets · Review due diligence materials for accuracy with assistance from senior team member · Assist in responses to HUD deficiencies as needed · Provide Lender Counsel with requested documentation · Conduct rent roll, operating statement, and other financial analyses · Bachelor's Degreein Finance, Real Estate or similar preferred but not required · Relevant workexperience in the mortgage industry a plus · Excellentanalytical skills · Strongorganizational skills · Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills · Detailoriented · Ability tomultitask on several transactions at once · Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment · Ability to adaptto changing circumstances and adjust priorities as needed · Ability to travelto site inspections required · Familiarity withMS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) & abilityto learn new applications Skills Developed · Analytical · Communication · Organizational · Real Estate · GeneralBusiness Apply on Company Website |
