The Vice President, Human Resources position in Asset Management Human Resources is a dual role including responsibility for managing the HR Shared Services support team and chief-of-staff support to the Head of Human Resources. The Vice President, Human Resources will have overall leadership and managerial responsibility for the HR Shared Services (operations) team. This team of 5 employees, including a manager who offers day-to-day support, provides tactical support to Asset Management HR Consultants and to Asset Management employees directly. The Vice President is accountable for developing and driving the team's strategy, ensuring employee development, and meeting the needs of clients. The team supports cyclical processes, such as the Employee Opinion Survey, Affirmative Action Plan preparation, and Year End Compensation processes and all employee life cycle processes, manages issue escalations, and provides a variety of standard as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis. As Chief-of-Staff, this role partners closely with the Head of HR in providing strategic and tactical support as needed across HR/Asset Management initiatives. Initially, the incumbent will be responsible for working with the Head of HR to review and enhance HR metrics as well as measures and reporting related to the businesses' talent agenda. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing data and developing reports / presentations in support of a wide variety of information needs. This will include conceptualization and preparation of Asset Management level presentations in areas such as Employee Opinion Survey results, progress in Diversity initiatives, Succession Planning, as well as for presentations to the Asset Management business heads and President in current HR areas of focus. This individual will also support administrative efforts such as developing and managing the HR team's budget, development and maintenance of the team's business continuation strategies, and the development of employee communications strategies. The Vice President, Human Resources will also help manage the response to requests for information and data from Corporate HR partners.
