Prudential is looking for an additional attorney to support Prudential Investment Management's Public Fixed Income business.
Job responsibilities will include: legal advice relating to investment advisory services to alternative and structured products, institutional clients, mutual funds, collective trust funds and insurance company separate accounts; assisting in the development of alternative investment vehicles; reviewing and assisting in the preparation of institutional marketing materials and responses to requests-for-proposals; negotiating investment advisory agreements; providing advice with respect to trading issues; and reviewing and negotiating third-party vendor agreements.
 
This attorney will join a team of 5 attorneys supporting Prudential Fixed Income.

• Extensive legal experience in asset management.
• At least 4 years experience with a law firm or an investment management organization.                   
• Extensive and sophisticated knowledge of: the Investment Advisers Act of 1940;
• The Securities Act of 1933; the Securities Exchange Act of 1934; Structured Products; and Hedge Funds.

Working knowledge of the following are a plus: 

• Commodity Exchange Act
• Insurance company separate accounts
• Bank collective trust funds
• Securities and derivatives transactions
• The Investment Company Act of 1940
• ERISA
