Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with one of DFW's favorite entertainment corporations to recruit a Manager of Financial Reporting. Duties and responsibilities include preparing cause of change analyses and drafting footnotes, MD&A section of Form 10-Q/K and the quarterly earnings release; being the liaison with external auditors regarding timing and execution of quarterly review and annual audit activities; drafting technical accounting memos, including those that support the quarterly financial statement compilation and audit; being the liaison with third party tax preparers to complete the quarterly deferred tax analysis and review supporting workpapers; coordinating valuation, accounting and disclosure for share-based compensation; reviewing and preparing quarterly entries related to the Company's joint venture investment; preparing quarterly and annual reports of certain subsidiaries for external creditors and investors; preparing internal and external presentations of financial information; evaluating and prescribing the accounting for special transactions and projects; monitoring emerging accounting issues and prepare analyses of the impact of accounting changes; maintaining the Company's accounting policies and procedures documentation; participating in other special project work and other duties as needed; and coordinating with external auditors and legal counsel as needed to address key responsibilities.
