Description
A stable and fast growing Financial Institution in Honolulu is seeking a Senior Credit Compliance Officer. This position is responsible for managing the enterprise wide consumer credit compliance program.
The Senior Credit Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing the compliance programs for consumer credit laws and regulations and will assists the business units with updating their respective compliance risk assessments. Also, identifies and measures the level of compliance risks associated with the banks products and services, customer base and geographic locations. This person will also review the compliance risks and key controls for the applicable business units and provides recommendations as necessary.

Additional responsibilities will include resolving highly complex compliance issues encompassing cross functional areas in an effort to follow internal policies, federal, and local laws and regulations and minimize potential legal exposure and liability as well as consults business units on implementing changes to credit products and services caused by new or amended laws and regulations, product changes, or system conversions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors degree in business or related area, or equivalent business experience.
Experience: Eight to ten years in regulatory compliance of banking laws and regulations or other
related experience.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of complex database systems. Personal computer skills must include proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and network environments. Must be able to identify and define problems; conduct research and analyze information and various situations relating to data management issues. Must be able to recommend alternatives or solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills to include presentation skills.
