A fast growing community bank in Tyson's Corner, Virginia is looking for a credit analyst to support their growing credit operations team. The credit analyst primarily be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. The credit analyst will also prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Other responsibilities will be to evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity. The analyst will be expected to generate financial ratios, using excel and bank owned computer programs, to evaluate customers' financial status. The credit analyst will be responsible for complying with various banking regulations and policies pertaining to financial industry ethical standards and compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. There will be other ad hoc duties as assigned.
