DescriptionFast growing healthcare company seeks Payroll Manager with strong management experience to manage the day-to-day process. This company has over 4000 employees and is growing rapidly. Key responsibilities will include:
Manage and guarantee weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes to employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws. Manage and personally perform payroll processing and related activities. Regularly prepares of management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, non-paid, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) Ensure the processing, including allocations, of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate and timely. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of payroll staff. Critically review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures and recommend changes leading to best-practice operations. Audit W-4s, payroll balance sheets, YTD earnings, etc. Communicate actively with Operations, HR and Accounting to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing. Interpret new and existing legislation impacting payroll utilizing knowledge and understanding of current business trends, laws and regulations. Apply on Company Website |
