A well established manufacturer located in East Hanover has an excellent opportunity for a Production Manager/Engineer. The Production Manager/Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the 1st and 2nd shift contract molding, assembly, inspection, and packaging activities to ensure proper timing, efficiency and quality. Maintain and supervise proper production procedures including process control, lot traceablility, inventory control, and packaging. The Production Engineer is also responsible for supervising, coordinating and follow up to all work delegated to general production worker personnel. Consistently achieves and improves production and quality standards. Coordinates with various departments such as mold technicians, engineering, the quality to provide high precision medical products meeting the customer's requirements while at the same time delivering on-time. Performs operational audits and quality testing, ISO and machine operation procedure. And coordinates and prioritizes schedule to meeting on time shipping. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of related experience out of the manufacturing industry. Supervisory experience is also a MUST as well as experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and any ERP systems. Spanish as a 2nd language is a really big plus. The company offers a very competitive salary in the $75,000 to $85,000 range, good benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
