Description:
Adobe InDesign Server Developer and Administrator (6 month contract)

Goal:
Implement InDesign server to support print collateral template localization, web interface editing/approval to support Adobe AEM implementation and web based marketing collateral localization tool.

Role:
Lead as the subject matter expert on Adobe InDesign server.
Communicate InDesign server capabilities and lead architecture around implementation to solve business problems.
Understand functional implementation of systems that require interface with InDesign

Job requirements:
The successful candidate must be proficient with Adobe InDesign Server & desktop InDesign from a development and system administration standpoint:
- InDesign Server environment, configuration, optimization
- InDesign templating, creation and management
- InDesign component architecture and customization
- Dynamic data feeds/integration to InDesign
- InDesign Server to facilitate translation/localization workflow automation challenges
Strong working knowledge of some of the following: scripting, SOAP, Java, Javascript, XML, XSLT, IDML.
Experience developing for the desktop version of InDesign demonstrating understanding of the challenges associated with automated publishing.
Proven track record of building publishing solutions that integrate InDesign server and CS6 publishing components; be proficient with web/print design and production using InDesign

Skills:
Detail oriented with the ability to summarize their observations and steps in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to logically review a set of data and predict the next steps in order to arrive at the desired result.
Able to communicate effectively in an oral and written manner with local and remote teams.
