SUMMARY:
Develop, document, maintain, and support client / server applications that sustain the organizations business, with a focus on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system and related EDI software.
Participate in analysis and design of business processes, and implement ERP and EDI system enhancements to support the process changes.
Establish and document standards, best practices, and business rules / processes that underlie the ERP and EDI system.
Oversee I/T Coordinator in regards to day to day hardware and user support plus infrastructure management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support for the user community in regards to applications, including working with other IT staff and support partners, to provide timely resolution of user issues.
Evaluate and determine best tools and solutions to implement to provide automation, analytics & reporting, and systems integration.
Responsible for NAV implementation, customization, ongoing modifications and administration.
Responsibilities for software configuration, documentation, training and support of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV software.
Integration of Microsoft Dynamics to other applications including SharePoint, Lync, and Microsoft CRM.
Translating customer EDI technical requirements into EDI rule sets.
Designs or modifies systems to meet changing business needs and prepare cost and design estimates.
Taking existing protocol and suggesting improvements with measurable results.
Documenting and communicating changes to various levels within the organization.
Analyze and develop recommendations to meet deliverable targets and complete project tasks within budget.
Develop customized reports utilizing various reporting tools.
Participate in company initiatives (functional and technical analysis, documentation, and development etc).
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree, preferably Computer Science w/ Business
5 or more years of business experience in a distribution environment
Navision development, C/SIDE, SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Experience in the following languages and technologies is a plus: C#, Java, VB 6, C, ASP.NET
Experience with SharePoint and SSRS a plus
Experience with EDI and SQL based mapping, troubleshooting, and development a plus
Knowledge of Internet based data transfer technologies (XML, web services)
Proficiency in AS2, SQL, GS1 Barcoding a plus
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially within Excel and Access
