Our client, a innovator in the virtualization market place is currently looking for a QA Test Engineer based out of their Morris Plains, NJ office.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong technical background and experience with software programming and scripting. Candidate should be able to apply this experience to build, improve and enhance our testing practices. The candidate will report to the Director of Software Engineering.

The qualified candidate will:
Perform hands-on testing (e.g. regression, smoke, feature, system)
Define testing requirements/objectives, and author test cases for highly complex technical issues
Integrate and work with developers to develop the best tests suites to ensure quality product
Design and build a custom test framework leveraging automation tools, custom APIs, hypervisor APIs, to automate regression, stress, and performance product testing.
4+ years software QA experience
3+ programming and scripting experience(e.g. in Bash, Power Shell, Perl, C/C++) a plus
Experience with Linux and Windows a must
Experience testing infrastructure products a plus
Experience with Virtual Machines (i.e. VMware, Xen)
Experience developing and implementing regression, and feature test suites a must
Experience with building automated testing a must
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. QTP, SilkPerformer, SilkTest) a plus
Good written & oral communication skills are mandatory
