JOB SUMMARY:

Communicate with Insurance adjusters, property managers, asset managers in the development of marketing strategies with these executives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-Maintain industry and product knowledge and inform corporate of changing market conditions and competitive issues
-Generate in-house sales utilizing the existing database as well as soliciting new business.
-Produce sales leads with Internet research and review of various lead publications.
-Responsible for new lead generation and solicitation in new markets sectors in an effort to expand our client base.
-Build your own territory sales pipeline.
-Manage time and company resources effectively to meet territory sales goals
-Document all sales activities and maintain current database with management

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

-Attend and participate at all sales meetings and marketing meetings

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Entry Level Position
Experience in general construction is a plus

JOB SKILLS:

-Strong computer skills including Internet, Microsoft office applications (e.g., word, excel, powerpoint) with the ability to learn programs quickly.
-Must have strong verbal, problem-solving and follow-up skills; and the ability to coordinate and perform several tasks simultaneously.
-Must be a team player -- works well with others; understands the role each person plays in the organization and seeks assistance when needed.
-Must be able to work on several projects/tasks simultaneously in a dynamic atmosphere.
-A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can work independently.
-A strong and clear writer, able to quickly and articulately prepare clear and appropriate correspondence and reports.

Physical requirements:

Occasional walking, driving to insurance agents offices.
Regular talking and hearing.
Occasional lifting and/or moving
