Safelite AutoGlassis looking for a Technician Manager to join our team!  This position is responsible for the management and supervision of all technicians. including installation, repair, and Mobile Pro technicians.

Responsibilities

* Oversees the hiring process of technicians
* Staffs, trains, motivates and develops all assigned technicians
* Performs the scheduling and planning of all activities for assigned technicians
* Partners with assigned Area Sales Manager to develop business
* Communicates with CSR's to handle significant issues, and to coordinate effective and consistent communications between technicians and CSR's
* Ensures all work orders and remittances are properly handled and accounted
* Ensures paperwork complies with operating practices
* Oversees the care and maintenance of all company assets used by technicians and remote distribution points
Requirements
Qualifications

* 3-5 years of auto glass experience required and experience in training and employee development, hiring, and management required
* Knowledge of auto glass installation techniques, customer service, MRM, and geographical areas and landmarks
* Knowledge of auto glass or related industry, legal and financial implications of operational decisions, and general business practices
* Ability to lead people and achieve results through others, organize and manage multiple projects, and assemble and lead high performance teams
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out responsibilities while upholding Safelite Group values and ethics
* Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgements, travel extensively, work non-standard work week, and foster a cooperative work environment
* Skill in implementing strategic plans, verbal and written communications, presenting information to groups of people, and effective listening
* Skill in preparing financial, operational, and written reports, operating a personal computer and job related software
* Skill in maintaining good public relations, providing world class customer service, following best practices, and negotiation and persuading others
* Skill in forward and progressive thinking over a short and long term period, problem analysis and resolution both at a strategic and functional level, process improvement, and training and development
