Description Saudi Aramco, a global leader in the energy industry, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Chemicals Business Organization. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Aromatics Manufacturing Specialist. Candidate must have strong technical capabilities and extensive experience with the Aromatics operations and technologies. Candidates must have good communication skills and be comfortable working both independently and with cross-departmental teams. Candidates will be the company's representative in Aromatics business.

Candidate will support the company's Aromatics existing and future operations; support due diligence activities in the evaluations and assessments of operational facilities, manage the technical support to the company's chemical operations; manage the support to new projects development and evaluation; and benchmark the company's Aromatics operation and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the Aromatics manufacturing team.
Requirements The successful candidate will have the following experience and competencies:
Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; a MS is a plus.

Minimum of 20 years of experience in petrochemical industry with minimum of 12 years in Aromatics manufacturing, technical support and Aromatics technology management.

Strong knowledge and technical capabilities of all Aromatics processes.

Previous leadership position in Aromatics manufacturing and technology management is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and networking skills.

A demonstrated ability to interface effectively with internal engineering, RD and technical service groups.

Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities Provide manufacturing support to existing joint venture petrochemicals facilities in the Aromatics business.

Provide high level engineering expertise in the resolution of plant operational problems.

Formulate and implement long-term strategies to improve operations and reduce cost.

Provide due diligence support for evaluation and appraisal of manufacturing assets in the operation, maintenance and reliability areas.

Staffing, Training of future manufacturing personal.

Simulation and modeling (energy and material balances, utilities and catalysts requirement, effluents and specifications, etc.) of Aromatics operations.

Lead maintenance preventive programs and strategy.

Reliability modeling support.

Maintaining and enhancing best practices in Aromatics facilities design, operation and maintenance.

Developing and updating design procedures and guidelines.

Evaluating process economics of Aromatics operations.

Assessing new and emerging Aromatics technologies and supporting technology research and development.

Providing troubleshooting and problem solving services and developing technically innovative process solutions with appropriate risk consideration.

Conducting performance reviews of company's Aromatics operations and establishing a knowledge sharing network.

Developing benchmarking criteria and procedures.

Developing Aromatics specialists and engineers.
