Position Overview SCA Americas Sales and Marketing Professional Hygiene organization is currently searching for a Sales Representative (End-Customer Account Manager) for our Central and North Florida Territory. The ideal candidate will be based out of Orlando,FL. Throughthe direction of the District Sales Manager, the Sales Representative (End-Customer Account Manager) develops new value added business at the end-customer level through focused sales efforts intended to assist the District in achieving its volume and net margin goals with Strategic Distribution. Additionally in this position s/he will be prospecting, qualifying and acquiring new end-customer business identified by market research. In this role the business will focus on selling the entire basket of goods that SCA offers: towel, tissue, napkin, soap, and wiper products via the Tork Advantage Program.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Primary focus is prospecting for new end user business
  • Develops new value-added business at the end-customer level
  • Focused sales efforts intended to assist the District in achieving its volume and net margin goals with strategic I and II distribution accounts
  • Heavy emphasis on prospecting, qualifying and acquiring new end-customer business identified by market research
  • Works with Distributor Account Executives and distributor DSR's as directed by the DSM to pull business through strategic distribution
  • Coordinates with inside sales for “person to person” follow-up of leads generated
  • Actively acquires competitive information on products and pricing which flows to the DM and pricing
  • Will be assigned to specific large end-customer accounts or segments to target and acquire within a market area or district
  • Coordinates with DSMs, BDMs, SAMs or NAMs to execute large regional programs and aids NA in executing the closing of end-customers to land the business for strategic distribution Initiate trial set-ups, arrange for samples and conduct site surveys
  • Initiate trail set-ups, arrange for samples and conduct site surveys.
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4-year college or university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or another relevant area.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of sales experience with abundance of prospecting, cold-calling and closing new business.
  • Goal-oriented with a hunter mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or customer contact database applications.
  • Must live in or around the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel to domestic or international locations.
  • Must meet SCA's Corporate Vehicle Policy Standards.
