Position Overview The SCA Americas Supply Chain business is currently searching for two (2) Shift Electricians for our manufacturing facility in South Glens Falls, NY. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Shift Electrician will beresponsible for troubleshooting and servicing all production and support equipment within the facility in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring minimal downtime. This position will work closely with the Mechanical Maintenance Team to provide maximum facility support. This position will complete preventative/predictive maintenance and provide project support.
Current opening is a first shift opportunity. Changes to this schedule may be required as business dictates. Must be able to work overtime and Holidays.
Minimum Qualifications

• High school or equivalent with an electrical certification from a trade school, college or formal technical education.
• State Journeymen Certificate preferred
• 3 - 5 years of industrial electrical experience required.
• Paper Mill experience preferred
• Mechanical experience, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
• Experience with AC and DC drives, variable frequency drives, PLC and motor controls along with all types of electrical phasing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as technical testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment by receiving and completing work orders, gathering tools and supplies to complete assigned work.
